Dealer Automotive Services, Inc. (DAS), was founded in 1976 by CEO Dean Rosoff, and his brother Stanley, as an aftermarket installation company specializing in the needs of the automotive dealerships in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. In the 28+ years that have followed, the Company has grown substantially by expanding our parts sales area to include the general public and auto and truck repair shops throughout the nation.
DAS specializes in the installation and repair of automotive air conditioning systems for cars, light duty trucks, street rods and RV's. In addition, we also specialize in the repair and installation of heating and A/C systems in heavy-duty trucks, including on-site repair work with our mobile service technician.
Our expertise in the automotive air conditioning business has enabled us to become a leading Midwest distributor for all products pertaining to air conditioning, a sample of which includes installation kits, AC service tools, recovery and flushing machines, compressors, condensers, evaporator cores and accumulator/dryers. We pride ourselves on being the best source for hard to find automotive air conditioning parts.
Many of our employees have been with us for more than 10 years and are considered to be part of the "family". The CEO of the Company, Steve Rush, has been with DAS for 15 years and started out as salesperson/buyer and has worked his way up from there. His knowledge of our automotive parts product lines is exceptional and his purchasing ability allows us to pass deep discounts on to our customers.
Our Operations Manager, Travis Estes, has been with the Company for more than 20 years. His expert knowledge of repair parts and his technical assistance on installation and repairs is unparalleled.
In recent years, DAS has diversified its' product line by entering the electronics installation and repair market. We now supply and install cruise controls, power windows and door locks, keyless entry, alarm systems, remote starters, video systems, and navigational pieces. We also stock parts such as running boards, visors, window shades, bug shields, light covers, floor mats, step bars and compasses.
